Kendrick Lamar Releases New Album GNX: Listen and Read the Full Credits

Kendrick Lamar’s new album is his first since officially leaving Top Dawg Entertainment. It follows a flurry of activity from the rapper, who became embroiled in a war of words with Drake when the Toronto rapper released “Push Ups,” in April, in response to Lamar’s “Like That.” Drake followed that with “Taylor Made Freestyle,” and Lamar opened the floodgates: “Euphoria” came next, then “6:16 in LA.” After Drake’s “Family Matters,” Lamar fired back twice, with “Meet the Grahams” and the quickly anointed summer anthem “Not Like Us,” which appears to have closed proceedings. Lamar celebrated the song’s success in July with a video starring Tommy the Clown, Compton native and former Toronto Raptors All-Star DeMar DeRozan, producer Mustard, and Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.
Elsewhere, Lamar has soundtracked a Chanel short film, played a Pop Out concert in Inglewood, California, and kept his and Dave Free’s pgLang enterprise ticking along, dropping a bespoke phone last year. He also reunited with Baby Keem for “The Hillbillies,” in late 2023, and adopted the title to headline Camp Flog Gnaw.
Released in mid-2022, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers followed Lamar’s Pulitzer Prize–winning 2017 LP, Damn, and featured notable collaborators such as Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Summer Walker, and Ghostface Killah. Per tradition, it was preceded by an installment of his “The Heart” singles series, “The Heart Part 5,” which came with a deepfake-heavy video in which Lamar morphed into Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kanye West, and others. He followed the LP with a concert film and went on to win Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album and, for “The Heart Part 5,” Best Rap Song.

PPG em Letras promove seminário para discutir internacionalização — Universidade Federal do Acre

O programa de pós-graduação em Letras: Linguagem e Identidade (PPGLI), da Ufac, realizou seminário para compartilhamento de experiências de internacionalização de seu curso de doutorado e apresentação dos relatórios de estágio e relatos de vivência de cinco doutorandas que retornaram de universidades no exterior. O evento ocorreu na sexta-feira, 18, no auditório do Bloco dos Mestrados, campus-sede.
Professores e estudantes discutiram a consolidação da política de internacionalização do PPGLI, visando à busca pela nota de excelência acadêmica junto à Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes). A avaliação da pós-graduação no país varia em uma escala de 1 a 7, na qual os extratos 6 e 7 representam programas de nível internacional.
As cinco doutorandas realizaram intercâmbios de pesquisa em instituições de referência na Europa e na América Latina, abrangendo universidades de Portugal, da França, do México e do Chile. O coordenador do PPGLI, Gerson Albuquerque, disse que isso consolida a produção bibliográfica e técnica em esfera global, incentivando outros alunos a perseguirem o estágio no exterior.
“Para alcançar a excelência, exige-se maturidade temporal, que completaremos em 2027 com oito anos de formação de doutores e uma inserção internacional consolidada”, acrescentou. “O doutorado sanduíche é fundamental para o amadurecimento intelectual dos pesquisadores e para a celebração de convênios que promovam a mobilidade docente e discente.”
A professora e pesquisadora Raquel Ishii ressaltou que a internacionalização do PPGLI dialoga diretamente com as características territoriais e culturais da Amazônia Sul-Ocidental. “Nosso programa atua fortemente com literatura, oralidade e a pluralidade linguística da região, que abriga 16 povos indígenas. Internacionalizar e nacionalizar a produção acadêmica feita no Acre fortalece a agenda científica nacional sobre a diversidade cultural e linguística amazônica.”

O painel “Empreendedorismo Feminino: Mulheres que Movem a Amazônia” ocorreu no âmbito da programação do Inova Amazônia Summit-2026, nessa quinta-feira, 17, no auditório Curupira, campus-sede da Ufac. Empreendedoras e pesquisadoras debateram inovação, perspectivas de mercado na Amazônia, superação de barreiras estruturais e liderança feminina na consolidação de negócios sustentáveis.
A discussão foi moderada pela analista Valéria Vidal, do Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas (Sebrae) nacional. Participaram do painel Mareílde Freire (Saboaria Rondônia), Pâmela Pimentel (Amazonzyme), Márcia Werle (Bioassu Bioindústria), Valda Gonçalves (Engenho), Clarice Maia (Antibiose) e Ana Euler (diretora da Embrapa).
O Summit-2026 é promovido pelo Sebrae-AC, com palestras e oficinas em diversos espaços do campus-sede. O evento começou na quinta-feira, 17, e prossegue até sábado, 19.

O programa “Mãepeutas: Vozes Plurais, vinculado à Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Cultura, da Ufac, lança, em 22 de outubro, às 18h, na Biblioteca Pública Estadual, o documentário “Autismo: Do Luto à Luta”, dirigido por Felipe Almeida.
O filme foi feito a partir da coleta de depoimentos de histórias reais de luta, dor e superação. Pretende dar voz a mães atípicas do contexto acreano e mostrar seus desafios em meio à luta que é cuidar e educar uma criança com transtorno do espectro autista.
