Diddy can ‘spy on female inmates’ in jail where he has ‘direct view’ of women’s unit

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs can peer down into the women’s unit of the Brooklyn jail where he’s locked up, according to two sources.
As the music mogul awaits trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, people with intimate knowledge of the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center have claimed Diddy is incarcerated in the 4 North unit.
The unit’s 20 or so inmates enjoy looser rules than the general population and have access to recreational activities like air hockey, according to the New York Post.
According to Gene Borrello, once a mob enforcer for the Bonanno crime family, inmates also take advantage of a room with grates that lead directly down into the women’s unit a floor below.
‘There are grates in one of the rooms of 4 North,’ Borrello, who spent time in the unit, told the Post. ‘They have little holes. If you lay down, you can look through the holes and talk to the women one floor down and see them.’

These new revelations come nearly two months after prosecutors with the Southern District of New York accused Combs of orchestrating elaborate, often dayslong sex performances he allegedly called ‘freak-offs.’
‘Freak-offs,’ which allegedly victimized at least two underage celebrities, involved the 55-year-old rapper forcing his victims to have sex with male prostitutes.
Another former inmate who goes by ‘G-Lock’ painted a clearer picture of what Diddy is experiencing for cryptocurrency influencer and citizen journalist Tiffany Fong.
‘They’ll show their t**s and play with their c***ies,’ the former Blood member told Fong.
Though, Borrello said these women aren’t remotely what Diddy is accustomed to.
‘They’re gross,’ he said about the women on the third-floor. ‘Most of them are drug addicts.’

‘G-Lock’, third from right, and crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried, second from right, have been in the 4 North unit together. Bankman-Fried is still there and has met Diddy
At his height of relevance in the nineties, Diddy was able to attract models, professional strippers and gorgeous celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and a young Kim Kardashian to his extravagant white parties.
The Gatsby-style raves in the Hamptons weren’t mentioned in the indictment against Diddy though.
The 14-page charging document was primarily concerned with ‘freak-offs.’
These were private sex parties usually held in luxury hotel suites. The orgies involved prostitutes – both straight and gay – endless supplies of alcohol and drugs, and industrial quantities of baby oil and lubricants, according to the indictment.
Diddy continues to maintain his innocence, with his lawyers arguing that the freak-offs were consensual.
Days ago, his lawyers once again asked for bail, offering a package that would include a $50 million bond and 24-hour surveillance to ensure he doesn’t leave the country or intimidate witness.
Fears that he would do these things are the main reasons his initial bail requests were denied by a judge.
But while the court evaluates his latest legal maneuver, Diddy will have to come to terms with his current surroundings, which don’t include private chefs, private jets and a loyal staff willing to cater to his every whim.
Instead, Diddy is shacking up with higher-profile criminals like crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried.

Diddy’s unit is a dorm-style living area for inmates who need closer protection, according to crime podcaster Jeff Nadu.
‘Go into the regular units and it’s nonstop cutting and stabbing and fighting. So it’s kind of better to avoid all that,’ Nadu told the Post.
Fong, who is friends with Bankman-Fried and has interviewed him many times, also had interesting insights about the unit Diddy will live until his trial starts in May 2025.
‘They are not in cells,’ she said, referencing her conversations with Bankman-Fried. ‘You envision them in small cells but they are actually in a unit that is set up like a dorm and designed for high-profile individuals.’
Fong referenced the fact that former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández was held in the unit before he was convicted of drug trafficking and sentenced to 45 years in prison.
R. Kelly, also once a meteoric star in the music world, was housed in 4 North before his child sex abuse convictions got him transferred to a North Carolina federal prison.

Fong said inmates in the unit have ‘very small beds, even smaller than twins and no more than a foot apart from one another.’
The beds are made of steel, have one-and-half-inch mattresses and have no pillows, according to Fong.
‘The showers and bathrooms only have a thin curtain for privacy,’ she added. ‘A lot can be heard by the other inmates.’
There are no set schedules, but there are headcounts done during the day that discourage inmates from staying in bed.
‘Typically, they are up at 6am or 7am. I think the lights go on and off early,’ Fong said.
Borrello said: ‘With the right cop, you can spend all night watching television.’
When it comes to other entertainment, Fong said there are plenty of options.

Tiffany Fong, through her conversations with Bankman-Fried, has gained insight into what the 4 North Unit is like

Bankman-Fried, pictured, described Diddy as ‘a nice guy and kind,’ according to Fong’s conversations with him
‘There is a gym, board games, card games and ping-pong,’ she said. ‘Inmates have access to tablets that are not connected to the internet. They can watch movies and play video games and listen to music. Apparently, there are books, but those are limited.’
When it comes to food, inmates have something different every day, ranging from chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and chicken thighs. The latter is supposedly the best meal of the week, according to Fong.
And gone is Diddy’s extravagant wardrobe. Fong said inmates ‘wear prison tans and sometimes a brown T-shirt and brown shorts, depending on the temperature.’
Diddy also has 300 minutes of time on the phone per month, which averages to about 10 minutes a day.
According to Fong, Bankman-Fried told her his early impression of Diddy was that he’s ‘a nice guy and kind.’
One thing Diddy for sure will not have access to is baby oil, which federal investigators seized 1,000 bottles of from his residences.
‘They used to have it in the commissary,’ said Borrello. ‘But no more.’
