Stranger Things 5 star Millie Bobby Brown posted an image gallery and a look at her heartfelt speech to the team on the final day of filming.

Earlier today, the streaming service made it official. With the final season set to hit screens in 2025, filming on Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer‘s Stranger Things 5 has officially wrapped. While the Netflix series was kind enough to share some behind-the-scenes looks at the production, Millie Bobby Brown gave us a serious punch to our feels with a post that began as a walk down memory lane at the years she spent on the series and ended with a video of what Brown had to share with the cast and crew on the final day of filming for good on the global phenomenon.
With a caption that read “with love, el ❤️,” Brown posted a series of images from her run on the ground-breaking streaming series, with the video of her speaking to the team on the final day of filming at the end:
“That’s a wrap on Stranger Things. See you in 2025,” read the caption to the Instagram post confirming that filming had wrapped from earlier today, along with an image gallery of looks from behind the scenes:
In honor of “Stranger Things Day,” Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) took fans on a tour of Castle Byers (the Upside Down version, so it’s missing a few personal items) on the last day that they will ever film on that set. “It’s kind of sentimental because I started in this exact tent when I was 10 years old, and now, 10 years later, I’m turning 20. So, it’s sad to say goodbye,” Schnapp shared. “I remember filming here with Winona when I was like 10 or 11 years old. Stranger Things 5 “Like Season One on Steroids”
During an interview with The Guardian, Ross & Matt discuss the pressures of ending the series in a way that works creatively and satisfies the audience’s expectations and how this final run with these characters will feel “like season one on steroids.”
“The nine hours that precede the ending can be amazing. But if you stumble at that one-yard line, people will never forgive you for that. And they’ll forget the previous nine hours of awesomeness! So it’s amazing what they will forgive if you score a touchdown at the end,” Matt Duffer explained when discussing their feelings on how series finales are viewed. “Endings of shows are like opening a restaurant in terms of the success-failure rate – there’s an 80% failure rate, I’d say. But I think one very particular way to fail is to attempt to appease everybody.”
Matt continued, “We have a huge variety of fans that span a huge age range, and I’m sure they have all their own ideas of how they want the show to end. But we’re not consulting social media on this. Then you just hope and pray that it resonates. But it was funny: once we got there, it just felt right, and we’re going to go for it!”

As the duo had stated previously, the universe will live on after Stranger Things 5 – but the characters that viewers have grown to love & connect with will see their stories end with the fifth season. With that much on the line, the Duffer Brothers aren’t going out quietly. “This season – it’s like season one on steroids. It’s the biggest it’s ever been in terms of scale, but it has been really fun, because everyone’s back together in Hawkins: the boys and Eleven interacting more in line with how it was in season one. And, yes, there may be spin-offs, but the story of Eleven and Dustin and Lucas and Hopper, their stories are done here. That’s it,” Matt shared – before adding, “Outside of the play. So if you want to see more of some of them, go see the play.”

A reitora da Ufac, Guida Aquino, participou da solenidade de inauguração da nova sede da Fundação de Apoio e Desenvolvimento ao Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão Universitária no Acre (Fundape), da qual ela é presidente do Conselho Curador. O evento ocorreu nesta sexta-feira, 26, no campus-sede, local em que se localiza o espaço administrativo e operacional da fundação.
Guida destacou a importância da Fundape para a Ufac e para outras instituições da Região Norte. Para ela, a fundação passou por um processo de fortalecimento nos últimos anos. “A Fundape hoje nos faz realizar, na verdade, todas as parcerias de formação de docentes, de ensino, de pesquisa, de extensão, de inovação”, afirmou.
Segundo a reitora, a fundação ampliou sua atuação para além do Acre, atendendo também instituições de Rondônia, Amapá e Roraima. “Olha a grandeza disso. E nós, enquanto Universidade Federal do Acre, temos que nos orgulhar”, pontuou.
O diretor-presidente da Fundape, Ismar Bernardo de Araújo, disse que a inauguração da sede própria representa uma conquista construída com dedicação, trabalho em equipe e visão de futuro. “Hoje não celebramos apenas a abertura de um novo espaço físico; celebramos uma conquista construída com dedicação, trabalho em equipe, visão de futuro e confiança.”
Ismar lembrou que a Fundape foi instituída em 22 de junho de 1998 e completa 28 anos em 2026. Atualmente, a fundação conta com 38 colaboradores, representa quatro universidades federais, três institutos federais e um hospital universitário, estando presente em quatro Estados da região Norte.
Membro fundador da Fundape e pró-reitor de Planejamento da Ufac, Alexandre Hid, relembrou a criação da fundação e os desafios enfrentados ao longo da trajetória institucional. “Hoje a fundação está aí forte e firme para maiores e melhores desafios.”
Também participaram da solenidade a reitora da Unir, Marília Pimentel; o procurador-geral adjunto para Assuntos Administrativos e Institucionais do MP-AC, Carlos Roberto da Silva Maia, representando o procurador-geral Oswaldo Lima Neto; o diretor técnico da Fundape, Camilo Gouveia; o diretor administrativo-financeiro da Fundape, Dionel de Araújo; Gemil Júnior, suplente do senador Alan Rick (Republicanos-AC); a pró-reitora de Inovação, Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação do Ifac, Alana Chocorosqui, representando o reitor Fábio Storch; o ex-reitor da Ufac, Minoru Kinpara; além de dirigentes, coordenadores de projetos, colaboradores e representantes de instituições parceiras.
