Salma Hayek and her husband’s ex, Linda Evangelista, both made the rare move of sharing photos of each other on Instagram on Friday. 

The From Dusk Till Dawn actress, 58, tied the knot with French billionaire, Francois-Henri Pinault in 2009 – after he briefly dated the supermodel, 59, over the span of four moths from late 2005 through early 2006. 

The former couple share son Augustin – who officially turned 18 on Friday – and Hayek became his stepmother upon saying ‘I do’ to Pinault. 

Salma – who has left fans stunned with her youthful appearance – and Linda jumped to their social media accounts as they penned special birthday tributes to the teenager. 

In Hayek’s post, she included a throwback image of Evangelista sitting with a younger Augustin on a patch of grass outside.

The actress also shared a snap as she hugged Augustin as they enjoyed time on what appeared to be a boat at sunset. 

Another picture was taken in the past as he stood next to his father, Francois-Henri Pinault, during a yacht trip. 

Salma uploaded additional photos of her stepson over the years, such as one as he hung upside down on a zipline in a forest. 

In the caption, the star penned, ‘Happy 18th bday Augie you’re officially a full grown up man who just became legal at least in Mexico and France.’ 

‘Your gentle heart is like healing caress in our lives because you bring warmth and light to everyone around you. Keep bringing the laughter and joy. We love you so much ❤️❤️❤️.’ 

In the comment section, Evangelista shared her response and added the number 18 as well as ‘years of [red heart emojis].’  

Linda also jumped to her own main page, and shared an assortment of pictures of her son – and Salma made an appearance in the post. 

One image showed the Frida actress flashing a cheerful smile as she sat next to Augustin as well as her daughter, Valentina, 17 – whom Hayek shares with Pinault.

Last year, during an interview with Vogue, Linda gave rare insight into her co-parenting relationship with Hayek.

In the caption, she penned to her followers, ‘My man @a_pinault bringing the joy and light #18’

She explained that she spends time with Salma and her ex, Pinault, during the holiday season. However, one Thanksgiving, she was ill and not able to join the festivities. 

‘I was sick at Thanksgiving. And Salma got on the plane with her daughter, came here, and made Thanksgiving dinner.’ 

Linda then humorously revealed she had given Hayek an ‘eclectic wish list’ for what she wanted to eat. 

‘I wanted her Mexican chicken with truffled potatoes. And she spent the day in the kitchen and cooked it herself. No help.’ 

‘The kids helped her at the end. She made a feast – a beautiful, beautiful meal. I had told her that I wasn’t going to have Thanksgiving; I wasn’t feeling well. And she said, “Oh yes you are: I am coming.” And poof, she was here.’ 

Linda also opened up about her son and wanting to give him a ‘normal upbringing’ – despite her celebrity status. 

Last year, during an interview with Vogue, Linda gave rare insight into her co-parenting relationship with Hayek; seen in September in Paris 

‘She made a feast – a beautiful, beautiful meal. I had told her that I wasn’t going to have Thanksgiving; I wasn’t feeling well. And she said, “Oh yes you are: I am coming.” And poof, she was here,’ Linda said of Salma 

She revealed both she and Augustin sit in the nosebleed seats at events after offers for front row seats at venues at Madison Square Garden dwindled down. 

‘Now we buy our tickets and we sit with the fans in nosebleed. We’re fine with that. I wanted to have a very normal upbringing for my child.’

After briefly dating Pinault – which ended in early 2006 – she welcomed Augustin later that same year on October 11. 

Years later, the former couple were involved in a publicized child support case in 2012 – which was eventually settled out of court.
