A reitora da Ufac, Guida Aquino, recebeu o reitor Everton Lozano e a vice-reitora Vanessa Ishikawa, da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), para uma reunião de avaliação e alinhamento das ações desenvolvidas no âmbito do programa de pós-graduação (PPG) em Planejamento e Governança Pública. O encontro ocorreu nessa quinta-feira, 16, no gabinete da Reitoria, campus-sede.

O mestrado é ofertado por meio de uma parceria entre a Ufac, o Instituto Federal do Acre (Ifac) e a UTFPR, com foco na qualificação de servidores e profissionais que atuam nas áreas de planejamento, governança pública e desenvolvimento regional. De terça-feira, 14, até quinta-feira, 16, a Ufac sediou o 12º Seminário de Boas Práticas em Planejamento e Governança Pública. Durante o evento, estudantes, pesquisadores e docentes discutiram experiências, desafios e resultados relacionados às pesquisas desenvolvidas no programa.

Durante a reunião, os representantes das universidades também discutiram o andamento das atividades do programa e perspectivas para novas ações de cooperação acadêmica, incluindo a continuidade das iniciativas voltadas à qualificação de servidores públicos e à expansão da pós-graduação na região amazônica.

Para Everton Lozano, a cooperação entre as instituições fortalece o programa de pós-graduação e amplia sua contribuição para a formação de profissionais na região Norte. Ele informou que já estão em discussão os encaminhamentos para a elaboração de uma proposta de doutorado interinstitucional.

Vanessa Ishikawa ressaltou que o programa amplia as oportunidades de capacitação para técnico-administrativos e profissionais da região, contribuindo para a formação em planejamento, políticas públicas e governança. Ela destacou ainda o envolvimento dos docentes da UTFPR no desenvolvimento do projeto e o trabalho conjunto realizado entre as instituições parceiras.

Para o coordenador da parceria interinstitucional entre UTFPR, Ufac e Ifac, Antonio Gonçalves de Oliveira, a oferta do mestrado representa uma estratégia para ampliar a presença da área de planejamento urbano, regional e demografia na região Norte.

A Ufac realizou solenidade de entrega de novos equipamentos destinados ao curso de Engenharia Civil. O investimento contribuirá para o fortalecimento das atividades de ensino e pesquisa, proporcionando melhores condições para a formação acadêmica dos estudantes. O evento ocorreu nesta quinta-feira, 16, no hall do bloco do curso.

Foram adquiridos 20 conjuntos para desenho técnico, compostos por pranchetas de desenho e banquetas, já instalados no Laboratório de Projetos. Também foram entregues duas estações totais de topografia, destinadas ao Laboratório de Topografia.

“Todo esse investimento é para eles”, disse a reitora Guida Aquino, referindo-se aos alunos. “A universidade não existe sem estudante.” Segundo ela, a instituição deve continuar avançando e modernizando seus laboratórios para acompanhar as necessidades da formação acadêmica.

O pró-reitor de Planejamento, Alexandre Hid, ressaltou que o crescimento da estrutura física e da quantidade de cursos ampliou as demandas da universidade. Para ele, a expansão também representa novos custos para a instituição. “Nós crescemos e atendemos ao plano”, pontuou. “Entretanto, o orçamento não teve o mesmo crescimento.”

De acordo com o coordenador do curso de Engenharia Civil, Bernardo Antônio Silva Ramos, a aquisição atende a uma demanda antiga do curso. Ele explicou que os equipamentos também poderão ser utilizados por estudantes de outros cursos da instituição, como Engenharia Florestal e Engenharia Agronômica. “Esses equipamentos são muito importantes para nós e serão muito bem utilizados daqui para frente.”

Também participou da solenidade a pró-reitora de Inovação e Tecnologia e vice-reitora eleita, Almecina Balbino.

O programa de pós-graduação em Planejamento e Governança Pública, desenvolvido entre a Ufac e a Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), realizou a abertura do 21º Seminário de Boas Práticas em Planejamento e Governança Pública. A cerimônia ocorreu nesta terça-feira, 14, no anfiteatro Garibaldi Brasil, campus-sede, e marcou o início da programação, que segue até 16 de agosto, reunindo estudantes, professores, pesquisadores e profissionais interessados no assunto.

Durante a programação, serão debatidos temas relacionados ao desenvolvimento regional, mobilidade urbana, educação, empreendedorismo e gestão pública. As atividades incluem palestras, mesas de discussão e apresentações acadêmicas voltadas à troca de experiências e à divulgação de pesquisas desenvolvidas no âmbito do programa.

Na abertura do evento, a reitora Guida Aquino destacou a expansão da pós-graduação na universidade e o fortalecimento das parcerias institucionais voltadas à qualificação de servidores e profissionais. Ela também ressaltou a importância da cooperação entre a Ufac e a UTFPR para a oferta do programa de pós-graduação.

O coordenador do programa, Rogério Duenhas, disse que o curso contribui para formação de profissionais e pesquisadores na área de planejamento e governança pública, especialmente na região Norte.

A presidente da comissão organizadora, discente Ana Caroline, destacou que o seminário busca promover discussões sobre desafios estruturais enfrentados pelo Acre e incentivar reflexões sobre políticas públicas e planejamento. Segundo ela, a proposta é ampliar o debate sobre temas que impactam diretamente o desenvolvimento do Estado e das instituições públicas.

Também participaram da mesa de abertura o vice-reitor e reitor eleito, Josimar Batista; a pró-reitora de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação, Margarida Lima Carvalho; a pró-reitora de Pesquisa, Inovação e Pós-Graduação, Alana Chocorosqui Fernandes, do Ifac; além de representantes da UTFPR, convidados e integrantes da comunidade acadêmica.
